Each year, TD Canada Trust recognizes 20 outstanding Canadian youth with awards worth $60,000 each. To date, the bank has contributed more than $11 million. This spring, GCI Canada led the PR campaign for the 2007 TD Canada Trust Scholarship for Community Leadership project. Using a two-pronged approach, our PR campaign focused on national and local media outreach for the National Scholarship Event in Ottawa and regional media pitching in the winners’ hometowns after the event.
