Fans of the popular ‘70s television series, Passe Partout, were thrilled to meet actors during an in-store autograph signing event at the Sherbrooke, QC BLOCKBUSTER® location on May 24, 2007. The event, in celebration of the launch of Passe Partout season two, generated a great deal of media and consumer awareness and drove a high volume of traffic to the local Blockbuster store.

GCI Group developed an extensive media relations campaign, layering in the Blockbuster key messages along with the details of the event. The DVD and video game haven gave home to a seamless event that generated excellent results in print and broadcast outlets such as La Tribune (Sherbrooke), 7 Jours, Voir, CFKS TV, CHLT FM, Radio Énergie, Rhythm FM and much more.
