Toronto, Ontario, August 23, 2007 – Leading Toronto public relations agency GCI Group is proud to announce the recent addition of Tara Reed, Senior Consultant and Ashley Curran, Consultant, to the Consumer Lifestyle practice.

Reed joins GCI Group from Strategic/Ampersand where she consulted on multiple accounts, including Nikon Canada, Cisco Canada, Movidity and VMWare. She also regularly contributes to a monthly technology column in community paper, SNAP North Toronto. Prior to Strategic/Ampersand, Reed managed North American public relations for Canadian video game publisher DreamCatcher Games.

Ashley Curran joins GCI from Devon Group, a boutique agency specializing in public relations, government relations and research. Her responsibilities included creating and executing effective media relations campaigns, managing events and communications programs for a variety of clients in the public and private sector including the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care, Ontario Health Quality Council, International Dragon Boat World Championships, Cineplex and Schneider Power.
