Dear Friends of GCI,

When I became CEO of GCI almost two years ago those who know me best thought I would be pulled away from what I enjoy most about my job...working with clients.

However, I am happy to report that this is not the case. The fact is I still work extensively with Dell, the WTA and many of our clients. I still enjoy media training CEOs, a lot. This has as much to do with what I think makes GCI unique as it does my individual determination.

You see, anyone who works at GCI is the kind of person who is truly passionate about what he or she does. Our people thrive on our culture of accountability and collegiality.

What you should also know about GCI is that we may not be the oldest or the largest PR firm in the world, but our clients tell us we are innovative, dedicated and the kind of partner they would want during a time of crisis. We're also known for always being there when we are needed and for delivering the unexpected. Our ability to do so comes from the fact that we have some of the best thinkers in the business. Ask any of them what we are obsessed about these days and they will likely wrap their answer around four priorities.

  • Staying Brilliant With The Basics Even as our industry undergoes one of the most dramatic changes in its history, we remain focused on consistently delivering on the fundamentals - great writing, strong media relationships, superior client service and flawless execution.
  • Making the Business Case For Communications We start every assignment with the assumption that there is a tangible business goal to achieve. We couldn't imagine starting any other way.
  • Delivering Big Ideas We are creatively driven to bring ideas that cross over all media...what we call "media neutrality." How else can we be sure we are reaching consumers in a memorable way and that we are ultimately making a business impact?
  • Managing The Digital Media Evolution The explosion of digital media is turning our industry on its head. We are now living in a world where communications has become conversational. For the past eighteen months we have had a crystal clear vision of what needs to be done to manage this evolution in the best interest of our clients.

Thanks for visiting and feel free to call or email me if you have any questions or comments. I would be more than happy to hear from you.
Kind regards,

Jeff Hunt
